• Music Reading – Reading notation (not just guitar tab) helps to learn the notes on the guitar fretboard, making you a better musician while making it easier to understand music theory
• Music theory – learn how music works and how to apply this knowledge in learning songs, improvising and song writing
• Aural – learn how to hear chords, intervals and harmony to learn songs by ear.
Rockschool Guitar & Bass Guitar Exams
Guitar students have the option of enrolling for Rockschool guitar and bass guitar exams. These exams help you to become an adaptable musician for rock, blues, jazz, funk and other styles while teaching students essential guitar techniques and music theory.
Lessons include detailed transcriptions and play along backing tracks. For lessons I can transcribe your favourite songs ensuring that you’re learning music you actually want to play while also having fun.
